Two weeks in twenty minutes.

10:52p.m. October 09, 2006.

Hola. It ain't easy to cram in a fortnight of stuff into a twenty minute window but I'll try -) Lot less time and shitloads of catchin' up. This is gonna be fun :)

Family. As most of my near and dear know by now, I'm an uncle since today morning. My brother became a daddy to a baby boy and this is big for my family. Superbowl, as they say. My elation does overshadow the disappointment that I'm away from my family, swallowed by my everyday routine but its allright. This is the price I pay for the choice I made.

Social life. Aftermath of the "Yeah, You. W'dup D" blog. Wonder no more. She didn't call me. Its all good -)) I believe that if you wanna be a soldier, you should be ready to take some bullets. As long as I'm fighting, I'll be happy -) If you were itching to comment, feel free to fire away :) One thing I would say is this. Its impossible to read a woman's mind and I'll gladly succumb to that fact of life !

Work. Been crazy busy offlate but I'm loving the challenges and the little victories. Making a lot of new friends, homies and haters but thoroughly enjoying the process -) I'm really glad to be a part of an awesome team and I've established a *brotherhood* at work. Organized a Ping Pong tournament several weeks ago; Organizing a Shuffleboard tournament this week. Hopefully, the trend will continue!

Home. Love my new place. Roomy, antique and suave (at least that's what I think). A rooftop with a sexy view of the skyline and really, stone's throw from the Soldier Field. Go Bears! No HD, but I've gotten over it. So what? I don't watch much TV anyway, if not for sports. And by the time the baseball season begins next year, I'd have HD so its not all that bad.

News. Its my homeboy and my confidante's birthday this week. I owe that boy a lot and I wish the best shit for him -) Another old friend whose company I've missed sorely is visiting me this week. I have a gig coming up where we'll be performing together. Can't ask for more! Last but not the least, its my lil sis's birthday this week. Hell yeah, she'll be getting a gift from her big bro :) Damn, she's grown up so fast that I can't believe she's almost ready for marriage. Nuts!

Finally, da Bears. I'd kill to see them go all-the-way (courtesy: chris burman) without a doubt!! The City of Chicago needs this, more than anything else!

11.15p.m. I overshot by 3 minutes, I guess.

// Adios //

Congrats dude. The transcontinental gap between you and him should give
his immune system some time to gather strength before you meet him.
